We are often asked to create programs for many of our clients.
But we do have a some DIY clients and they need a couple tips to get them started. Here are some of the tips we give our clients:

Wording on a program

The front cover of the program should have:
The name of the bride and groom
Monogram (if you have one)
Date of marriage
Name of ceremony site

The inside of the program should list the people involved in this order:
Officiant
Honored Grandparents
Parents of the Bride
Parents of the Groom
Maid of Honor
Best Man
Bridesmaids & Groomsmen
Junior Bridesmaid
Flower Girl
Ring Bearer

You can also add the layout of the ceremony too.

The back of the program:
A message written to the guests joining them on their special day
Acknowledgment of the loved ones who have passed on
Home address of the newly weds

Be sure to have one or two people hand out programs
to the guests as they walk in.

Talk about a perfect day! This September wedding was on a gorgeous fall day. The large wedding party (8 each side) was so much fun. The bride & groom are the perfect couple. And their wedding planner (your's truly) couldn't have been more pleased to help them achieve the wedding of their dreams!
